HISTORY

BioProcess Technology Consultants, Inc., was founded in 1994 by Dr. Howard Levine following a career of more than 14 years in successful product companies. From its inception, BioProcess Technology Consultants has been dedicated to providing technical and regulatory consulting to the biopharmaceutical industry, specializing in technical operations, particularly process development and GMP manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products.

Dr. Levine operated the company as a sole practitioner from 1994 until 2002 when the company was incorporated in Massachusetts as an S corporation. The company then expanded its staff and services to offer a broader range of consulting services. By January 2003, the company had hired two Senior Consultants, Mr. Thomas Ransohoff and Dr. Susan Jones, whose expertise and experience enabled the company to provide assistance in all aspects of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Control (CMC), as well as a variety of business and management related areas. Since 2003, the company has continued to grow, adding additional staff of experienced and accomplished industry professionals. In addition, the company has established exclusive subcontracting arrangements with several independent consultants who provide additional support and assistance on an as needed basis.
